Prize
Winning prize: The winner will be flown out to one of Ken Blocks events and will be allowed to film and create a film at one of his events. Monster Energy will be covering the cost of the flights and hotel.
How to Enter
Download the asset pack to add our logo to your video intro.
To upload you must submit a video via the throttle and shutter website.
When you upload a video you first must have the video uploaded to YouTube.com. You then use your Videos unique URL from youtube to submit your entry.
To complete your entry to the contest you may be asked to upload the original video file (preferably in mp4 or .mov format).
Entries MUST be 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Any entries above or below this length will not be accepted.
Entrants must upload an Instagram post to promote their entry. Posts must be tagged with #throttleandshutter along with @players_jaymac, @mike_stanceworks and @monsterenergy

No music videos, commercials or blatant advertising or anything that disparages the Promoter, any sponsors or other persons affiliated with this Competition.
No content that infringes or violates another’s rights (including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights) or is otherwise illegal, inappropriate, indecent, hateful, defamatory, obscene, tortious or promotes racism, hatred, bigotry or discrimination based on age, race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation.
No content that in the opinion of the Promoter contains unsportsmanlike conduct, reckless acts or otherwise indicate or promote dangerous or inexperienced conduct.
The Promoter is the sole and final arbiter of what content is admissible for a valid entry to this Competition.
Conditions of Entry
Entrants under the age of 18 selected as a winner will be required to provide parent or guardian consent to the Promoter before any prize is awarded.
Employees and immediate family of the Promoter, any related entity or Competition sponsor are not eligible to enter.
Dates
Entries for the competition start on 09 May 2016 and close on 18 September 2016. Monster to present entries at ‘Monster Pop Up Cinema’ at Players Classic @ Goodwood on 11 June 2016. The winner will be announced at the North Weald show on 18 September 2016 and online shortly after.
Entrant Warranties & Indemnity
Entrants warrant that their entry is their own original creation, does not breach the privacy of any person and that they own (or have obtained express permission) for all content (including any music or sounds) forming part of their submitted entry.
Entrants further warrant that no third party has a claim for any copyright, intellectual property rights, breach of privacy or failure to obtain any other necessary clearance, permission or release in connection with their entry and hereby indemnify the Promoter and any related entities and related persons (“Relevant Persons”) against any claim made against any of the Relevant Persons arising from the Entrants entry and any use of the entry or accompanying display materials in connection with this Competition.
Entrants acknowledge and agree that entry does not guarantee acceptance into, display in or use of their entry for the Competition, however the Entrant agrees to allow (at the Promoters sole discretion) their entry to be displayed or partly used in the Competition or promotion thereto.
Entrants agree that no license fee will be paid for any use of their video entry in the competition or any promotion, marketing or display by the Promoter or its Affiliates.
Any Entrant whose entry wins a prize in this competition agrees in consideration of the receipt of such prize to grant to the Promoter an irrevocable, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free licence to the Promoter (and if the Promoter elects at its sole discretion) to any related entity and/or any entity supplying prizes to this Competition to display, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from or otherwise use (for any lawful purpose) the Entry or any part thereof in any form, media, or technology (whether existent or yet to be devised) provided that such licence will not entitle the licensee to sell or transfer its rights to any other party for any valuable consideration. Furthermore, each winner warrants that it will enter into a legally binding deed if so required by the Promoter to give effect to the licence contemplated by this paragraph.
General
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any Entrant who alter the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
Should the prizes remain unclaimed or the winner remains un-contactable due to any misadventure for a period of 3 months from the original date of announcement the prize will be forfeited. Judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or any other costs incurred by you in entering the competition, attending any awards event or taking delivery of any prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Prizes, including any unused portions are non transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise indicated. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values.
The Promoter collects Entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the Competition. If the information requested is not provided, the Entrant may not participate in the Competition.
By entering the Competition, unless otherwise advised, each Entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information or disclose it to other organisations that may use it in any media format for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Entrant.
In regards to any videos provided by the Entrant, the Entrant warrants that they are the owner of the videos and that they are not subject to copyright or licence or any other such governance. The Entrant further consents to its publication in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Competition.
Judges for the Competition are selected at the sole discretion of the Promoter and may include employees of the Promoter &/or related entities.
